The MBFDC Girls’ Wildcats have been invited to attend the first ever Wildcats football festival in Cornwall. Any Wildcats who did not attend last nights session (19.09.2018), please note the information below for your reference.
County Festival Info…
When: Saturday 29th September 2018
Where: Brannel School 3G pitch, St. Stephen, PL26 7RN
Time: 2-4pm (registration from 1.45pm)
Travel: Players will need to make their own way to Brannel
The festival will consist of players (5-11 years of age only) taking part in fun Wildcats themed sessions and activities followed by a number of age appropriate small sided games. Due to the mixed ages and the numbers of players, individual Wildcats centres will not be playing directly against each other. The focus for the festival will follow the Wildcats ethos in allowing the young players to make new friends, gain confidence and social skills whist learning and developing through fun and play.
Cornwall FA will be hosting the event along with their team of coaching staff. Unfortunately, Anika (Wildcats Coach) and all other MBFDC coaches are unable to attend the festival due to our own sporting commitments on a Saturday afternoon. However, our girls are still very welcome to attend and we encourage the girls to do so as we believe this will be a great experience for the girls.
If any girls would like to attend please email email@example.com to confirm your place as we need to inform Cornwall FA of how many players we will have attending.
Should you have any further questions then please do get in touch, for further information about the Wildcats Centre please see the below information and link provided.

What is the Wildcats Centre…
Our Wildcats Centre was the first ever to be launched in Cornwall back in March 2017, and was one of 200 pilot projects launched in England by the Football Association (FA). Since the instant success of the Wildcats launch, the programme has flourished with 12 Centre’s in total running across Cornwall. All 12 Centre’s have been invited to the County festival on Saturday 29th September 2018.
