During the Easter Holidays we delivered some ‘Squad Development Days’ for our PDC players, which allowed us to catch up with the Coaching Curriculum and make up for lost time with the recent Covid lockdown.
Dates Attended
Monday 12th April 2021 – U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s
Tuesday 13th April 2021 – U12s, U13s & U14s
- Players – ‘Protecting the ball & Turning’
- Goal Keepers – ‘Shot Stopping & Handling’
Spending the full day with the players was fantastic, we had ‘time’ to really embed the players learning throughout the day (whilst having lots of fun of course!).
The coaching sessions took place throughout the morning followed by lunch, after lunch the players took part in the ‘Turning Challenge’ with the Goal Keepers taking part in the ‘Shot Stopping Challenge’. These activities culminated in matches throughout the afternoon.
Everyone did really well and showed vast improvements throughout the day.
