IMPORTANT 3G PITCH UPDATE‼️

Big changes are coming! Our brand-new 3G pitch  redevelopment project has started 👏

❓What happens next ?
For the duration of the construction, all football sessions will move temporarily onto the grass pitches (top field across the road!), while our fantastic new 3G facility is being built.

ℹ️ Soccer Tots will continue as scheduled in the sports hall with no changes.

🛠️ Project timeline:
The 3G redevelopment is expected to take approximately 14 weeks.

We’re incredibly excited about the improvements ahead and can’t wait to welcome everyone onto the new pitch once completed 👍

A formal press release will be announced in due course about the 3G development(s).

⚽ Wildcats Football – Fun, Friends & Football!

Whether you’re brand new to football or already love the game, Wildcats provides a fun, friendly, and confidence-building environment where girls can develop their skills, make new friends, and experience the joy of the game.

Our sessions are part of the national FA Wildcats initiative, and we’re proud to be one of the original pilot projects to have launched the programme!

Sessions run on Saturday mornings, following the school calendar year.

Don’t worry if you don’t have football boots or a full kit — just bring trainers and a willingness to have a go!

📍 Session Details

• What: Girls’ Wildcats Football

• When: Saturdays, 10:00–11:00am

• Where: Mounts Bay Academy, 3G Pitch, Penzance, TR18 3JT

• Cost: £4 per session

⚠️ ➡️ On arrival, head to the 3G pitch where our friendly coaching team will meet/greet and sign the players in (the 3G pitch is located behind the sports hall)!

📅 2025/26 Season Schedule

Girls’ Wildcats: Saturdays, 10:00–11:00am
Cost: £4 per session

Block 1 – 6 sessions:

• September 6th, 13th, 20th
• October 4th, 11th, 18th
  (No session available on September 27th, due to a primary schools MBA transition event)

Block 2 – 6 sessions:

• November 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
• December 6th, 13th

Block 3 – 6 sessions:

• January 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
• February 7th, 14th
  (No sessions available on January 10th due to Storm damage – debris and no access & no power). Also, no session on Saturday 7th February due to 3G flooding.

Block 4 – 5 sessions:

• February 28th
• March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

Block 5 – 4 sessions:

• April 25th
  May 2nd, 16th, 23rd
  (No session on May 9th due to an earlier start date of the new 3G redevelopment project)

Block 6 – 3 sessions:

• June 6th, 13th, 20th
  (No session on June 27th due to Mazey Day)
  The summer break begins after block 6.
